If you know me well, you know that I love trees, that I feel a strong spiritual connection to certain ones, that I feel calmness and peace within my mind and soul as I connect with and experience their healing energy.
My husband and I went for a nature walk in the forest this past week. I saw a certain tree and found myself craving to be close to it, to explore the multiple interweaving textures within the bark, to connect spiritually and mentally with all that I felt the tree could teach me, all that I could teach and allow for myself within that sacred moment.
As I gently ran my fingers down the bark, my breathing immediately slowed, and I felt myself inhale this sacred energy that both invigorated me and gave me peace within my choice and desire to experience stillness, to just be, to allow that moment of stillness to keep expanding.
I think sometimes we go through life without allowing ourselves to experience the beauty and vibrancy around us, the healing energy within nature, within others, within ourselves.
This week, I want to invite you into that healing energy, into creating space for yourself to love and be loved. I know that journey looks different for all of us, and how wonderful that we can support each other within those differences.
I feel peace within taking walks, within noticing all that is around me, within pausing and allowing myself to experience sacredly familiar and energetically new sights, sounds, and textures.
I feel peace within authentic conversations, within encouraging people and taking time to focus on them.
I feel peace within allowing myself to truly be, in taking time for myself to read, to rest, to create, to dwell in the deep inner knowing that stillness, peace, and unstoppable feminine energy are all sacred, un-contrasting parts of my identity.
I honor peace and energy within you. Thank you for dwelling on this journey with me.
Have a wonderful day,
Susannah
Beautiful writing. Thank you for sharing this.
Wonderful writing, Susannah. Your words made me feel blissful. I feel that each tree has a unique energy and brings back different memories for me. I recently read a beautiful poetry collection about trees by a poet I met on Instagram. I asked her if I could use one of the poems for a poetry therapy post and she agreed. So, I will be posting that soon.
